Jan Dubensky is a Certified Physician Assistant who was born and raised in central Texas. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin, and attended Rutgers University in New Jersey to obtain her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. She began her career working in San Antonio and subsequently made her transition to a healthcare provider for Lonestar Medical. She is also a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
Jan thoroughly enjoys practicing in the Family Medicine realm; a key component is establishing and maintaining valued patient-provider relationships. She strives to play an active role in preventative medicine (including well-woman exams), but also contributes to acute visits, managing chronic conditions (high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.), and performing in-office procedures. Jan displays good communication, empathy, and passion for the field of medicine to be an integral part of her patients' entire well-being
Outside of work, Jan enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with family, and enjoying all that the hill country has to offer.
Susanne Brandt is a Family Nurse Practitioner who was born in San Antonio, Texas. She spent a great deal of time traveling the world and returned home to San Antonio in 1993. She received her Bachelor’s of Nursing from the University of Texas, El Paso, and received her Masters in Nursing-FNP from Texas A&M, Corpus Christi and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. It is from her thirty years of nursing experience that she has gained a vast knowledge in the nursing profession.
Having worked in various health care positions, Sue finds she fully enjoys practicing in the Family Medicine setting. She believes in building a long lasting relationship with the patients and their families. As a healthcare provider for Lonestar Medical Sue practices preventative medicine such as well-woman exams, manages chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
When Sue is not working or traveling, she enjoys spending time with her four grandkids exploring museums, art exhibits, and musical performances.
